The Confidence Collective Club is a monthly gathering for people who want to grow in a real, human way. We focus on practice makes progress rather than perfection.
You can choose how you participate:
- As a Performer: Take the spotlight for public speaking, a musical performance, or any other talent you want to share.
- As an Audience Member: Simply come along to listen and contribute in a way that helps you practice social skills in a safe environment.

We are here to support you. Depending on the flow of each session, we explore proven techniques to help you manage anxiety and feel grounded.
Together, we use a variety of proven tools and gentle techniques, introduced across our sessions to help you practice public speaking and interaction at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Whether you are here to overcome stage fright or simply want to meet new people, you can grow your toolkit and your real-world confidence right here in Clevedon.
Meet Claire Paul
You’re in safe, kind hands here. Claire Paul (Hons, MSc, Dip. Hyp, Dip. LC/PC) is a Psychology Professional, Hypnotherapist, and Performance & Life Coach with over 20 years supporting people through performance anxiety and social nerves. She gently facilitates every Confidence Collective Club session.
The real heart of the club is you and the group ~ it is always participant-led and centered on practice. With over 20 years of experience, Claire’s role is to hold a safe, expertly-held space so you can grow at your own comfortable pace.
She gently weaves in helpful insights and grounding techniques from her psychology background only as needed, while you focus on the real work: exploring, practicing, and building authentic confidence through relaxed, low-pressure experience.
In these 90-minute sessions, the focus stays on your practice and progress in a warm, human environment ~ no big spotlights, no pressure to perform beyond what feels right for you. Come to practice as much or as little as you like; the group evolves together.

What a Typical Session Looks Like
- Warm Welcome & Icebreakers: Settle in with lighthearted activities designed to put you at ease and help you connect with others.
- Friendly Connection using Relational Presence: A chance to practice your social skills through gentle interaction in pairs or small groups.
- Performance & Practice (Optional): An opportunity to take the spotlight for public speaking, a musical performance, or any other talent ~ or simply stay as an active audience member.
- Tools for Calm: Practical techniques are drip-fed into our sessions over time, providing you with a growing set of skills to use whenever you need them most.
- Closing Circle: Reflect on the session and connect as a group.
- Optional Social: Stick around for a casual cuppa or drinks afterwards ~ it’s a great way to build confidence in a relaxed, social setting.
Flexible attendance
You are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as fit your schedule. Whether you want to perform or just observe, please get in touch beforehand to reserve your place as space is limited.

- Capture insights and any techniques that resonate with you during the sessions
