What does this Privacy Policy mean?
This policy means I (Claire Paul) am fully committed to protecting your privacy. I will only use the information that is collected about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
I am dedicated to safeguarding and preserving your privacy when you visit this website or when you communicate electronically with me.
This Privacy Policy reflects the requirements of GDPR and provides an explanation as to what happens to any personal data that you provide, or that is collected from you.
This Policy is updated from time to time so please do review it regularly. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 I (Claire Paul) am the Harmony4Life data controller.
What information is collected?
Only the minimum information about you is collected when you make an enquiry, book an initial consultation, sessions or wellbeing walks. Website usage information is collected using cookies. Any emails to claire.paul@harmony4life.co.uk will be retained. If you have attended a session either in person or by video/ telephone then I will have notes made during the session.
If you phone or message me then I will have your phone number and also the information in the message(s). This information is kept so that I know what we have discussed and have records of financial transactions. You have the right to request a copy of the information that is held.
Whilst using this website, or getting in touch, the following data about you may be collected and processed:
- Details of your visits to this website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data
- Information that you provide by filling in forms on this website, such as when you make contact for information or to book a session
- Information you provide when you get in touch via email/ message
How long do you keep the information?
I keep information from previous sessions and email/ message correspondence to help me provide the best service for you. I have had clients who have come back to see me up to 10 years later and it helps me to have some background information and also know what we addressed at that time. I also use my notes to help me learn from what I have done in the past.
How are cookies used?
Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect information on visitor behaviour and standard internet log information. This information is used to track visitor use of this website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. You can set your browser not to accept cookies and you can also remove cookies from your browser.
Such information will not identify you personally as it is statistical data about your use of this website. This statistical data does not identify any personal details whatsoever.

How is your information used?
Information gained through harmony4life.co.uk is used to process a booking, to respond to enquiries and to send you information you have requested. Your information is never shared with anyone else.
Email communication and notes made during a session are used to help me provide a good service and also to provide you with information. I may contact you after sessions to get feedback and to provide additional information that I consider to be helpful.

Access to Information
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access the information that is held about you and to make corrections to data.
You also have the right to request that I delete any or all of the data I have related to you. However, I may not be able to immediately comply with this request as my insurance company's advice is to retain records for a minimum of 6 years after the last and some insurance companies require data to be kept for a specified minimum number of years. I may also need to keep some data for tax purposes.
Please note that any requests for access/ data amendment or deletion may be subject to a fee of up to £30 to cover administrative costs.

Anything discussed by email, by phone/ message or in a session is confidential. There are two instances where I would share your information (unless you ask me to share it):
- With emergency services or your GP if I genuinely thought that you were likely to harm yourself or someone else;
